Display the attached images by copying the code from attaching the image, opening the page again, and pasting the code where you want to show the image
Attach file to the page - very similar procedure to attaching images

URLs are automatically recognized and made into links
Text surrounded by square brackets [ ] will be underlined. You may want to change [ to [
The TikiWiki has a nice what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) editor as of Dec 2012.
The WYSIWYG editor provides a great way to copy and paste from a document/webpage which has lots of graphics, tables, etc.
PDF files and images: Now typically attached at the bottom of the webpage
If PDF/image file is expected to be used by more than a single wiki page it should be uploaded to a file gallery
A PDF file does not have to have an associated wiki page - but the wiki page can provide a good teaser, especially if the title is not enough
Upon uploading a PDF file to a file gallery, click on "Additional Information" to get copy the link for the PDF file which can be pasted into a wiki page
Note - I find it easy to have two tabs open to the Wiki during this operation 1 = wiki page, 2 = File Gallery for uploading
Note: You can just attach a PDF/image at the bottom of the wiki page, and later, if needed, upload a copy to the file gallery
