Perhaps you get more vitamin D from the sun at 8 AM than noon

The most vitamin D is generated when UVB is most intense
  This assumption may be incorrect

Hypothesis: 8 AM is better than noon is based on

Some implications if this hypothesis is correct:

  1. Getting sun before starting work is more important than noon-day sun
  2. Can get good vitamin D without getting hot (note: people in Singapore get early morning sun)
  3. Should use narrow-band UVB bulbs instead of 95% UVA, 5% UVB bulbs
  4. Should maybe use a filter which reduces the UVA which you get
  5. Should not not have lots of windows - which totally block the good UVB, but pass the bad UVA
