  • Vitamin D supplements
  • More sunshine (hard to find in Scotland)
  • UV (tanning) booths (used by various UK sports teams)
  • UV lighting added to lockerroom/classroom

Note: The article did not mention what they consider an adequate level to be

  • 10 ng – UK
  • 20 ng – US and many countries
  • 30 ng – many endocrinologists
  • 40 ng – many vitamin D researchers
  • 50 ng – some vitamin D researchers and some athletics studies
